The Patterson Everything Tax

Missouri House Speaker Jon Patterson of Lee’s Summit has sponsored a bill

(HJR 174) in the Legislature that would massively increase taxes on EVERYTHING -

just to give a tax cut to his rich campaign donors.

Most families in our community are having to make sacrifices as costs rise and wages aren't keeping up with increases.

Politicians in Jefferson City should be investing in programs that create opportunities for jobs, healthcare, education and more affordability. 

They shouldn’t be passing a tax increase on 80% of Missourians just to give their rich friends a tax cut.
